Following the pandemic, Bonia & Braun Buffel faced declining online conversions as well as low brand consideration among target consumers for leather goods. Furthermore, a lack of execution and management competency restricts effective strategy development and growth.
Solution
To identify areas for improvement, we examined online touchpoints such as the omnichannel ecosystem, website CRO, and marketing content. We assessed employee skills and roles while also optimising workflows through targeted workshops and implementing a data-driven funnel strategy for more effective and streamlined outcomes.

Local manufacturing brand with dwindling sales as they struggle to compete on the smart cleaning products segment in a market dominated by international juggernauts such as Dyson, Roborock & Xiaomi.
Solution
Focus on traffic generation activity to quickly test & search for right target audience by applying market research principles and test with offers that work to drive e-commerce sales on Shopee & Lazada e-malls through consistent optimisation.

GNC Malaysia
Physical retail outlets everywhere were badly hit due to Covid-19 and GNC Malaysia needed to ramp up its digital efforts to drive traffic to its e-commerce store.

Combination of social content marketing with Facebook advertising which gave a huge boost in digital sales.

Sime Darby Oils
Sime Darby Plantation’s legacy systems were slow, resulting in costly upgrades that limited the adoption of newer processes, as well as a lack of comprehensive communication among various systems in their ecosystem. Furthermore, information gaps, manual workflow handling, spreadsheet processes, and the lack of system-based controls all contribute to inconsistencies in data accuracy and oversight.
Solution
We created adaptable software for SDPB that allows for integration with existing systems and the development of new modules. This ensures ownership while avoiding long-term vendor ties and fees. We collected accurate data at key points using mobile and IoT technology. For non-digitizable processes, frontline employees used mobile apps, while data from digitised peripherals was centralised for further processing.
Outcome
Launched first phase in April 2020 and development was completed in end-2021 to include support for other countries around the world.
SOGO
Needed to catch up with large eCommerce players like Lazada & Zalora before completely losing their market share in the online retail space.
Solution
An integrated eCommerce system was built with complex integrations between SAP, Microsoft LS Retail and Ulysses CRM that collectively manages data synchronisation of customer data, login information, inventory, POS sales, and accounting entries and documentation for order fulfilment.
Outcome
The eCommerce store and S Card loyalty program now handles more than half a million customers.
Wipro Unza
Wipro experienced a decline in E-commerce sales returns. Their Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) was below 1 despite a 5-digit ad spend while the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) was on the rise.
Solution
The E-Commerce Facebook Ads (Shopee CPAS) underwent an audit to pinpoint areas for improvement. Following the audit, we segmented brands and product lines, tailoring specific value propositions to each. Simultaneously, we conducted precise audience segmentation and implemented ad optimisation on a weekly basis to enhance overall campaign performance.

JobStreet by SEEK
JobStreet was unable to hold physical career fairs due to the pandemic, which disrupted their traditional recruitment strategy. They also had to deal with manual data entry processes for various employer information, which resulted in significant inefficiencies. The lack of a Content Management System limited their ability to manage content, limiting their ability to respond quickly to changing market demands.
Solution
We deployed a tailored Virtual Career Fair (VCF) on WordPress with features like live chats, interview scheduling, Zoom integration, and streamlined data management. This reduced manual input by 70%, boosting efficiency and enabling real-time data visualisation. The VCF model was successfully replicated for deployment in six countries, highlighting its practical and global applicability.
Nestlé Malaysia
Nestlé Malaysia wishes to roll out a new series of products come mid 2021 but hopes to conduct an agile market penetration studies using an e-commerce and digital validation route.
Solution
OpenMinds developed an e-commerce store using Shopify Plus and integrated the backend with a CRM software and multiple analytic tools to provide customised consumer insights that ranges from product purchases, customer interactions, sign-ups, to price optimisation.

Sime Darby Property
Serenia Township is located away many miles away from KL and Sime Darby Property needed a website to convey the convenience and accessibility of the township. Client also wants to incorporate interactive elements into the website to make it more interactive.
Solution
The website has to be capable of highlighting three main unique selling points of the township, namely: Liveability, Accessibility and Community. The website was designed with a mobile-first approach that resembles a mobile app. Subtle animations and tappable interactions are embedded throughout the site to promote interactivity.
Outcome
OpenMinds was further awarded with many other website development projects with Sime Darby Property.

Leveraging on the Constant Contact Lead Gen & CRM platform, we assist in designing marketing automation and sales funnel for lead nurturing and workflow management to improve brand's marketing efficiency.
Jobbie
Without a physical store, prospects and customers lack the in-store experience of familiar sales personnel that are able to create meaningful connections between the brand and in-store visitors. As a fully e-commerce brand, Jobbie set to discover new solutions to keep the brand consistently top-of-mind, especially in the competitive peanut butter market.
Solution
To improve the online experience, we implemented a monthly mass email blast with product information and promotions, as well as targeted landing pages. Furthermore, automated workflows were set up to retarget and re-engage customers to repeat purchases. This helped to increase Jobbie's brand recall and overall e-commerce efficiency.
Truvisor
Truvisor was challenged by a lack of resources to run marketing campaigns and managing multiple brands, each of which required its own marketing efforts. It’s also difficult to communicate effectively when there are multiple external stakeholders involved.
Solution
We implemented an automated customer journey from ads to conversion that efficiently nurtures leads with minimal human involvement. This entailed using templated content on everything from landing pages to emails to expedite marketing material execution. To ensure accurate and efficient information transfer with external stakeholders, Constant Contact lead generation and CRM was integrated with multiple platforms.
URStore
URStore had to cope with challenges such as limited resource allocation and management, which were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This had an effect on the company’s operational efficiency and client prioritisation in order to convert high-interest leads.
Solution

During the circuit breaker, AIA Singapore realised that it was an opportune time to equip their insurance agents with some basic social media skills in order to help boost sales through social media channels.
